The Norwegian School of Economics chose Ability: The future of cleaning in Bergen.

When the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) in Bergen — one of Norway's most recognized educational institutions — was selecting a new partner for cleaning services, the choice fell on Ability. With over 3,600 students, lecturers and staff present on campus every day, high standards are set for quality, sustainability and flexibility.

The contract means that eight dedicated employees from Ability ensure daily cleaning of reading rooms, auditoriums, meeting rooms, classrooms, office spaces, common areas and the student club. Our goal is to ensure a clean, safe and inspiring learning environment that contributes to both well-being and efficiency.

An important part of the delivery is the introduction of robot-assisted cleaning. This provides an even more pleasant environment for users, smarter workflows, increased sustainability and better ergonomics for the cleaners.

In the tender process, Ability achieved the top score on quality and near-top on environmental performance. Although we were not the lowest on price, we were chosen because we deliver solutions that balance quality, efficiency and sustainability.

Operations started on August 1, 2025. The area covers 30,000 m² with a team of 8 employees and approximately 3,600 daily building users.
